After three and a half years of biking and photographing Taiwan, FFTA photographer Dennis Flood decided it was time to leave the lush hills and mountains of Northern Taiwan in an attempt to rediscover his home and native land, Canada.

There's a common misconception that riding in Canada only happens in British Columbia's mountains. While BC is home to amazing riding, Canada is an enormous and diverse country. One of the best kept secrets in the mountain biking world is that Canada also has an almost limitless supply of world class riding outside of BC. The hills and baby mountains of central and eastern Canada may be small in comparision to the famous mountains of BC, but they are still home to an amazing assortment of riding, riders, races and bike shops.
